Hybrid Drives in the Tractor Construction
Líčeník, Adam ; Řehák, Kamil (referee) ; Prokop, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis utilizes survey of types hybrid propulsion systems in the tractor construction. It evaluates its operational advantages and disadvantages and presents examples of some tractors and its elements. The thesis focuses on components which are used in hybrid propulsion systems. In the conclusion there is a review of individual variations in terms of emission and economy of operation.
Theoretical Concept of Power Drivetrain in Human Powered Vehicle
Frank, Boris ; Kloss, Ondřej (referee) ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (advisor)
Thesis is aimed on regeneration braking systems in human powered vehicle, which uses a flywheel as an energy storage medium. In the beginning is research about design and usage of flywheel energy storage systems in vehicles. Research about possibilities of continuously automatic shifting in HPV is also accomplished. Practical part deals with design of flywheel and FEM analyses of it. Also take into account practical aspects and problems of designing kinetic energy recovery system in bicycle. In energy balance thesis appreciate contribution of practical application of this system.
Brakes and retarders of commercial vehicles
Kalnický, Jakub ; Zháňal, Lubor (referee) ; Fojtášek, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is specialized search dealing with brakes of commercial vehicles. The work is divided into six main parts. The first part deals with genesis of brakes. The second part informs about fundamental terminology and definition of braking. The third part deals with distribution of braking systems by their purpose. Contents of fourth and fifth parts are friction brakes and retarders. The last part is dedicated to development trends of brakes.
Recuperation systems in automotive technology
Běhoun, Lukáš ; Repka, Martin (referee) ; Zháňal, Lubor (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to examine the methods of energy recuperation in the automotive technology. The first section explores the historical development of the recuperation systems spanning from the end of the 19th century to the present day. The second section is following with the division of the recuperation systems in accordance with the method of their energy storage and their transmission. This is consecutively supported by three examples of use for each of the systems. The third section offers a comparison of the individual cumulative units. Furthermore, it offers a comparison of all the types of systems used in bus transportation. The fourth section analyses the fuel consumption by a bus without a recuperation system and by an identical bus with the Bosch Rexroth recuperation system. This is supported by calculations. Subsequently, the above systems are scrutinized from an economical point of view. The last part deals with the possible development of recuperation systems in the future.
Brake systems for heavy commercial vehicles
Andrle, David ; Hejtmánek, Petr (referee) ; Fojtášek, Jan (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is to create a comprehensive overview of freight vehicle brake systems. The thesis is divided into six major parts. The first part deals with a brief history of the development of brakes. The second part focuses on the basic division of brake systems according to their use and energy source. The following part describes the indirect brake system. The fourth part deals with the individual types of retarder braking systems. The fifth part deals with the electric brake system and its subsystems. The last part focuses on the possible trends in the development of brake systems.
Hybrid vehicle propulsion
Sommer, Matěj ; Kloss, Ondřej (referee) ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (advisor)
